Dogs on a Sunday

It was still raining today, but that didn't stop me from hopping on the train to Seoul to meet Laura in Hongdae. We found each other no problem (I'm quite glad I've got the phone now!), and headed out to find not only lunch, but the dog cafe.

We ended up having lunch in a really cute Mexican place. It was very quiet, we were the only customers, but the food was fine and it had a nice view of the street and all the Korean people driving weird in the rain.

After filling up on quesadilla and tacos, we had to find the dog cafe, Bau House. Stuff in Korea can be really tricky to find because addresses don't work, and shops change so much that giving landmarks can be a problem. Anyway, I managed to get us pretty close, and after only a couple of minutes of wandering back streets, Laura spotted an awning in the distance with a dog on it, which turned out to be the cafe. Wasn't too hard to find after all. Although, they're moving in a month, so I'll probably never be able to go again :D

We had to wait a while to get a table, but were allowed in to see the dogs while we waited. We soon got a table, ordered a couple of hot chocolates, and I bought a bag of dog treats. We chatted, drank and played with the dogs. It was fun and the dogs were very tame, friendly, and well behaved. However, all they were interested in was food. No food = no dog love. So, it wasn't really a fulfilling dog experience, as the dogs didn't really care who you were or even want pats, just dog treats. Made me miss Jessie!!

Here's a couple of photos:

Drool hand :)

So, today's top five:

2) Finally made it to Bau House!

3) Got a seat on the train the whole way home!
